  • Local Buses:

    • Bx10: Connects Riverdale to Norwood, with stops along Henry Hudson Parkway, West 231st Street, and Jerome Avenue. This route provides access to the 1 train at 231st Street and the D train at Norwood-205th Street.

    • Bx20: Connects Riverdale to Inwood in Manhattan, with stops along Riverdale Avenue and West 207th Street. This route provides access to the 1 train at 231st Street and the A train at Inwood–207th Street.

    • Bx7: Runs between Riverdale and Washington Heights via Riverdale Avenue and Broadway, offering connections to the 1 train at multiple points and the A train at 207th Street.

Train Services:

  • Metro-North Railroad – Hudson Line: The Spuyten Duyvil station six-6 minute walk from River Terrace provides access to Grand Central Terminal in Midtown Manhattan (in approximately 25 minutes), as well as northbound service to Westchester County and beyond, offering a quick and scenic ride along the river.

  • Hudson Rail Link: The Hudson Rail Link is a weekday shuttle bus service that runs between the Spuyten Duvyil and Riverdale Metro-North stations and nearby communities from about 5:30 a.m. to midnight. There is no service on Saturday or Sunday.  Buses are timed to connect with Metro-North trains to and from Grand Central.

Subway Services:

  • 1 Train (Broadway–Seventh Avenue Local): Accessible via the 231st Street station, offering local service between Van Cortlandt Park–242nd Street in the Bronx and South Ferry in Lower Manhattan. 

  • A Train (Eighth Avenue Express): Accessible at the 207th Street station in Indwood, providing express service from Inwood in Upper Manhattan to various destinations in Queens. MTA
